Simple, realistic, and esoteric

I used to teach astral projection and although I had not mastered the art of mental concentration myself, I was becoming better at it by teaching it. So if you really want to master anything, teach it! This book will give you the formula, which is: Concentrated Mind + Sleep = Projection

My parting thoughts: A spiritual life without astral projection is too risky in my opinion, there are just too many dangers. It is so easy to make mistakes when you don't have the foresight that the astral plane provides. I suggest you regroup with friends to practice astral projection each week, twice a week. And I suggest you teach the little that you know as soon as you get the chance, to master the art yourself. Though it does carry a karmic weight, as only husbands should be teaching astral projection, so unless you meet the sexual requirement, ponder whether teaching is for you.

Belsebuub is perhaps the most important contemporary spiritual teacher in the West. He officially began teaching in 1998, which coincides with the prediction of Edgar Cayce, who said, “the entrance of the Messiah in this period - 1998.” Coincidence? You decide.

I really like this last edition. It doesn't just show how someone can astral project but also how to be able to do it consistently. This book does a great job guiding people that want to get the most out of their astral travels. Anyone can have success here and there with astral projection. However, to be able to astral project consistently and also have meaningful experiences it takes a lot of work. It shows how astral travel has been part of people's lives since ancient times.

I'm starting a snack company and I bought this to seek for help on the technical side of it. Personally feel that it works great, but it doesn't offer too much insight on many products (just a few). I'm doing cassava chips and I have problems with starch. I was trying to look for a solution for my problems here, but its not covered in any depth. Now, if you're working with potato chips (which I will, in the future) it works for an awesome guide. Gives you a clear view of the type of production lines and methods available and it surely helps as a mind opener.

Every year, leading social anthropologists meet in Manchester to debate a motion at the heart of current theoretical developments in their subject. Key Debates in Anthropology collects together the first six of these debates, spanning the period from 1988 to 1993. For each debate there are four principal speakers: one to propose the motion, another to oppose it, and two seconders. These debates give unprecedented insight into the process of anthropological theory in the making, as the many contributors both engage with each other's positions and respond to wider intellectual currents of the time. The first debate addresses the disciplinary character of social anthropology: can it be regarded as a science, and if so, is it able to establish general propositions about human culture and social life? The second examines the concept of society, in relation to such terms as individual, community, nation and state. In the third debate the spotlight is turned on the concept of culture, and on the role of culture in people's perception of their environments. The fourth debate focuses on the place of language in the formation of culture, highlighting the problematic distinction between verbal and non-verbal communication. The fifth takes up the question of how we view the past in relation to the present, touching on the difference between history and memory. Finally, in the sixth debate, the concern is with the cross-cultural applicability of the concept of aesthetics. Can there be an anthropology of aesthetics, or is the term so wedded to Western standards of evaluation as to make any such endeavour hopelessly ethnocentric?

A fascinating read on the essence of anthropology

What is anthropology? What is society, culture, language - and how are they related?
In this volume, edited by the intrepid Tim Ingold, we find these issues and others debated by some of the leading anthropologists in Britain. The fact that the format is a debate, and not merely the prosaic monologue of one author after another that one usually finds in an edited volume, means that the book engages the reader on a direct level, and that the volume inevitably raises more questions than it answers - and that is as it should be.
The debates are: 1. Social Anthropology is a Generalizing Science or it is Nothing. (Participants: Keith Hart and Anthony Good for, Anthony Cohen and Judith Okely against). 2. The Concept of Society is Theoretically Obsolete (Marilyn Strathern and Christina Toren for, J D Y Peel and Jonathan Spencer against). 3. Human Worlds are Culturally Constructed (Wendy James and Roland Littlewood for, Tim Ingold and Paul Richards against). 4. Language is the Essence of Culture (David Parkin and Brian Moeran for, Alfred Gell and James Weiner against). 5. The Past Is a Foreign Country (David Lowenthal and Penelope Harvey for, Gillian Feeley-Harnik and Susanne Kuchler against). 6. Aesthetics is a cross-cultural Category (Howard Morphy and Jeremy Coote for, Joanna Overing and Peter Gow against).
