About the Author
Rebecca F. Plante is Associate Professor of Sociology at Ithaca College. She is the editor of two other books on sexualities and genders, and has written on these topics for scholarly journals and the popular press. Plante has also worked as a program evaluator of various state-level HIV/AIDS education programs and once hosted a radio call-in sex advice show.
